Sauna use has long been part of wellness routines focused on slowing down, warming the body, and creating space for rest. Time spent in the sauna is less about outcomes and more about the experience itself — warmth, stillness, and intentional pause.
Many people incorporate sauna into their routine that want to:
Experiences vary from person to person, and each session can feel different depending on heat, duration, and personal preference.
The ability to control temperature, humidity, and session length allows each sauna experience to be shaped intentionally. The sauna encourages listening to your body and moving at a comfortable pace.
Perhaps the most meaningful benefit is time — time without distraction, without urgency, and without expectation.
Temperature is adjustable based on your preference and heating method. You’re encouraged to use the sauna at a level that feels comfortable for you – typically between 120 and 190 degrees F (49 – 88 degrees C). Either the wood-fired or propane stove can heat to that temperature range.
After every reservation, the sauna is professionally cleaned and inspected before its next use. High-touch surfaces, benches, floors, and the changing area are thoroughly cleaned using sauna-appropriate methods and products designed for high-heat environments.
The sauna is allowed to dry and air out, and all accessories are cleaned and reset. Heating areas and interior surfaces are reviewed to ensure everything is safe, clean, and ready for the next reservation. Ash is emptied from the wood stove.
Cedar wood is a traditional sauna material chosen for its comfort, durability, and performance in warm, humid environments. Like many natural woods, cedar contains naturally occurring compounds that inhibit the growth of certain bacteria and fungi.
While this natural resistance can support a comfortable sauna environment, it does not replace cleaning or sanitation. Cedar’s properties are best understood as complementary — working alongside regular cleaning and responsible use.
